In the wake of Bharat's accurate airstrikes on terror infrastructure in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and within Pakistani borders on Wednesday, Islamabad has been in a hurry to manage the narrative, going to the extent of using a barrage of false propaganda.
However, amidst the din, one Pakistani citizen's candid honesty has emerged, as he publicly condemned his own Army's shortcomings—eliciting widespread attention on social media.
In a viral clip going around on social media, the man reveals the serious loopholes in Pakistan's defence mechanisms and their failure to deflect incoming assaults.
"Indian Army bombarded and missile-bombed us. All the missiles and bombs hit targeted positions and reduced the terror hideouts to rubble. But our Pakistani Army failed to catch even a single Indian missile," he says in the clip.
Reflecting Bharat's tough stand, he conceded that India had indeed carried out the promise behind the phrase "ghar mein ghus ke maarenge" (we will hit you in your own house).
"They attacked us within our homeland, and we couldn't respond. It's a fact, and we all have to swallow it. Pakistani Army has utterly failed in thwarting any attack," he said, blunt and unrepentant.
Rather than learn from the violation, the man indicated, Pakistan's establishment and media have opted to deflect blame using misinformation and staged narratives.
It is said that Pakistani Army has shot down Indian planes near the border. Social media is filled with many Pakistani handles asserting victory. Everything is wrong," he explained, adding that most of the videos being presented as 'evidence' are from old times, some even years ago.
To drive home the magnitude of the failure, he cited the Iran-Israel missile clash recently. "When Iran has fired 100 missiles at Israel, only 1 or 2 have actually hit and the remaining are destroyed in mid-air," he claimed.
"In our situation, Bharat launched 21 missiles and all of them struck the target with precision," he continued, pointing to the precision of Indian firepower and Pakistan's inept missile defence.
He also questioned the severity of the situation if the Indian strikes were directed at civilian targets or military cantonments, that their aftermath would have been even worse.
For his courageous acknowledgement and willingness to expose his own nation's establishment, the Pakistani citizen has attracted general admiration from all over social media. His video remains being widely shared, breaking myths and unveiling Pakistan's domestic security failure.
